Communication Skills is a great BDSM romance with a unique setting - the world of competitive Scrabble tournaments. I really enjoyed the storyline and there were some fabulously steamy sex scenes which I loved. I couldn't decide whether to rate this four or five stars, but in the end I decided to give it four stars because I had a few problems with the hero/Dom. He was an intriguing character but I struggled to connect with him as I didn't feel that I really knew him. That's the only little negative I found with this book though, everything else was great. The author's writing is slick, the story flowed well and it is a fun, sexy read.

Kira first meets Grahame when he's her opponent at a scrabble tournament, and his air of dominance brings out her natural submissive side. She's surprised to run into him again when curiosity leads Kira and her friends to explore a BDSM club. Grahame offers to mentor Kira and he introduces her to the world of dominance and submission. 

There are some unique and imaginative BDSM scenes in this book - and boy oh boy are they steamy! I especially enjoyed Kira and Grahame's scrabble game at the end of the book, this was the best part of the book for me. Overall I really enjoyed this story and I will definitely look out for future work from this author. Communication Skills receives four out of five stars.
