Hard Ride #3: A Novel in Three Parts by Opal Carew
Erotic romance
5/5 stars

Synopsis

Liv never expected to rekindle her romance with her college boyfriend, who's now a hard-bodied, tattooed biker. And she never imagined sharing herself with his entire gang.

Shock can feel Liv pulling away from him, just like she did all those years ago. Her lies are a painful reminder that she's not ready for anything more than a good time in bed, but he's not willing to let her go. He lost her once, and it's never happening again. Faced with losing the one thing he's always wanted, he must prove to Liv that what they have is more than physical and that his heart is in her hands. But is she ready to give him hers?

Review

Hard Ride is book number four in Opal Carew's popular Ready to Ride Series.  Hard Ride is initially being released as a three part serial in April 2015, then as a bundle in June 2015.  This is my review for part three of Hard Ride.

The final part of Hard Ride was a fabulous read, full of emotion, love and some hot lovin' with some hunky bikers.  In this instalment we see two sides of a Shock - his tough, sexy Dom side and his caring, soft side when him helps Liv with her sister's illness.

If you have read any of the other books in the Ready to Ride series, you will know that these bikers are close and like to share everything - and I mean everything!  So be warned that there is a scene in this book where Liv has multiple sexual partners.  This scene was very steamy, and as usual Opal makes sure that the bikers treat Liv well and makes sure that she receives plenty of pleasure.

Liv and Shock have some misunderstandings in this book, mainly due to their lack of communication and interference from someone who doesn't want the pair to be happy together.  Shock has a secret and it may cost him Liv's love.  Because we get both main characters point of view, we know that they love each other, but are afraid to tell each other how they feel.

I really enjoyed this part of Hard Ride, and the book as a whole.  It is sexy, fun and has lots of hot, hunky bikers that have hearts and care about their women.  This book gets five out of five stars.

I received a copy of this book in exchange for a honest review.
