Book review - Until You by Hurri Cosmo (m/m romance) 4/5 stars

Until You by Hurri Cosmo
M/M romance
4/5 stars

Blurb

Asher has a few issues. His older brother amassed a huge gambling debt that landed him in the hospital, his supervisor at the club where he works is out to get him fired, and the owner of the club, wealthy Max Tyler, is after his ass. Literally. Asher is also extremely attracted to Tyler, but the same people who put his brother in the hospital also want Tyler dead. Not only that but they're blackmailing Asher into helping with their henious plot. Do as they say or his brother will die.

Tyler is not so easily defeated, by thugs or a reluctant Asher. Lust at first sight, Tyler always gets what he wants and he wants Asher. Even if it kills him.

CONTENT ADVISORY: This work is a re-edited, expanded re-release title.

Review

I received a copy of this book from the author (via Indigo Marketing & Design) in exchange for a honest review.

Until You is an interesting read with an intriguing crime/suspense storyline combined with a hot m/m romance. There is a lot going on in this book, with a young naïve photographer, a controlling crime boss and lots of their enemies with elaborate plans to destroy our heroes.  I enjoyed this book, although at times it was a little OTT - but sometimes I do like a bit of over the top drama. It definitely kept my attention from start to finish, there were lots of twists and turns that kept me interested.

Asher is a twenty two year old photographer who has a lot of problems. His brother has a huge gambling debt and the criminal who he owes the money to is now after Asher for the money. He's started a new job and his vindictive manager hates him at first sight and is constantly causing him problems. His boss Max Tyler, who seems to be some kind of Mafia boss, is trying to get Asher into his bed. And the gang Asher's brother owes money to are blackmailing him to help them bring down Max and his empire. I told you there was a lot going on!

Max is an arrogant alpha male crime boss, but I couldn't help but like him. He may not be a hearts and flowers type of guy, but he is sweetly protective of Asher and cares for him in his own way. Asher is a sweetheart but he is so naïve and he seems to attract trouble - he continuously stumbles from one disaster to another!  I enjoyed watching their relationship develop, I was really rooting for these two characters. This book won't be for everyone, but I enjoyed it so I give it four out of five stars.
