Review

The Duke of Andelot is a historical romance with a steamy side.  It is the last book in The School of Gallantry series. I haven't read any of the other books, but I still enjoyed this one - although it may have been a bit easier to follow at the beginning if I'd read the others first.  It is set in the French Revolution and the amount of detail included is impressive, the author has obviously done a lot of research into this period of history.

I liked both of the main characters, I thought they were well written and easy to connect to.  The chemistry between the hero and heroine was undeniable, and there were some very hot love scenes in this book.  The storyline is fairly complex, and covers thirty years, so I'm not going to describe it here and give anything away - but it is definitely entertaining to read.  I enjoyed the author's writing style and would read more from her in the future. Four stars.

I received a copy of this book in exchange for a honest review.
