Synopsis

Welcome to The Indigo lounge, the scandalously sexy sky-high playground where anything can happen...
Flirty, dirty and utterly delicious, HIGH is the perfect next read for lovers of the internationally renowned This Man series from Jodi Ellen Malpas & Sylvia Day's Crossfire series.
Zachary Savage is a man accustomed to getting whatever and whoever he wants. He's buried his demons and risen from the ashes to become the playboy owner of the internationally renowned Indigo Lounge, a fleet of ultra-exclusive sky-high pleasure palaces.
He has everything he wants, until he sets eyes on Bethany Green. One look is all it takes ~ she has to be his.

Bethany Green has endured the worst year of her life; bad luck and heartbreak at every turn. Karma swings wildly in her favour when a money-can't-buy golden ticket lands in her lap - an invitation to experience the scandalously sexy Indigo Lounge for herself.
Green by name and green by nature, is she brave enough to accept the hottest ticket in town?
One glimpse of Zachary Savage is enough to convince her that she isn't cosmopolitan enough to play in his glamorous, sinfully sexy world. But they're already in the air, and reality is a long way behind them. The only way is up.

High is a fun, amazingly hot little number that far exceeded my expectations. I was expecting lots of hot and dirty sex - and there was.  What I wasn't really expecting was a good, emotional story to back it up.  I absolutely loved the idea of luxurious jumbo jets that are set up to cater for your wild fantasies, it is such a fun idea for a book (or books in this case).  High is the first in the Indigo Lounge series, and I will warn you now that it ends on an absolute killer of a cliffhanger that will leave you desperate to read the next book in the series.  This is my first time reading a Zara Cox book and I was really impressed with how she combines fun, humorous moments with heart wrenching emotion and steamy, hot sex.

Bethany has had a bad time of it recently, and it has left her with no confidence and has her doubting her femininity and sexual appeal.  When the once in a lifetime opportunity arrives to fly with Indigo Lounge she is super excited, but also super nervous.  Her best friend steps in and convinces her to go, which results in her meeting billionaire owner of Indigo Lounge, Zachary Savage.  Zach is unbelievably sexy, but he is also mysterious, reclusive and has dark secrets.  It's lust at first sight for them both - the chemistry between these two is off the charts.  But can the instant connection between them lead to more than a brief vacation fling?

I really liked both lead characters, especially Zachary.  Well who doesn't love a sexy, charming but tormented billionaire who is magic in the bedroom and is the champion of talking dirty?!  He is an intriguing character and, like Bethany, I wanted to know all of his secrets and find out what had caused him so much pain in the past. Zachary also has his sweet side - he puts Bethany's happiness and pleasure first, and I loved how he tried to help her conquer her big fear of water. I really liked Bethany too, she is a normal girl who has suddenly been caught up in an extraordinary experience and can't believe her luck.  She was hurt badly by her ex boyfriend though, and this has left her understandably wary of relationships.

High is a great book that is ideal to read when you want to escape from the reality of everyday life.  It is skilfully written, has great characters and leaves you wanting to start the next book in this fabulous series straight away.  Five stars!

I received a copy of this book in exchange for a honest review.
