Book review - Dirty Talk by Jane O'Reilly (erotic romance) 4/5 stars

Dirty Talk by Jane O'Reilly
Erotic romance
4/5 stars

Dirty Talk is another fun, sexy novella by Jane O'Reilly.  It's a short read, but it's definitely worth a look as it will really put a smile on your face.  This is the second book I've read by Jane O'Reilly and I have to say she is the queen of dirty talk!  Yes this book is sexy and dirty, but it also manages to be sweet and romantic.

When words are not enough…
Amy can’t believe she’s let herself be bullied into a write off with the odious Dave. Now she needs to produce twenty pages of a story by next Friday – the content is to be of a very particular nature!
Fortunately Amy has an advantage: she’s a secret – and voracious – reader of erotica and she knows just what turns her on! But when it comes to putting her own words down on paper embarrassment and nerves have left her with a severe case of writers block…
Enter her good friend Phil. While she’s always thought him too sexy to be true her crippling shyness has held her back. But with Phil as her willing muse, Amy’s reality is suddenly more erotic than any fantasy…

Our heroine is a shy bookstore owner who has a secret love of erotica.  Amy is forced into a bet with her friend's awful boyfriend over which of them can write the best short erotic story.  When she puts pen to paper the words fail to flow and she enlists her sexy friend Phil to help her.  This is an usual storyline, but it worked well in this fun and sexy novella.

I liked Amy, she kind of reminded me of myself!  Shy and seen as 'prudish' she has a big dirty side of her personality which Phil really brings out of her.  Phil is likable as well, he seems perfect for Amy as she could be her true self with him.

This book it hot with some great scenes, including some sexy role playing.  But the thing I liked most was Amy's journey.  With the help of Phil, she really came out of her shell and became stronger as a person.

All in all, this is a good read that gets four out of five stars.

I received a copy of this book in exchange for a honest review.
