Cassidy moved to New York to create a new life for herself, but she doesn't expect to find herself in an exclusive BDSM club. But when her friend asks her to go with her on her first visit to the club, Cassidy doesn't want to let her friend down. While she's at the club she is looked after by David, and he makes it clear that he wants to see Cassidy in his ropes. He persuades her to give him two weeks to show her the pleasures he can give her, but he warns her that he isn't boyfriend material. Their relationship starts to heat up, but David's secret and lack of trust threaten to tear them apart.
This is quite a short read, and I would have loved it to be a bit longer so that we could explore David and Cassidy's relationship further. Both the story and the couple's relationship move quite quickly, maybe a bit too quickly at times. I can't help but think that a demonstration in a BDSM club, where you have to be fully nude in front of a crowd, is not the ideal time to experience bondage for the first time! The scenes are hot though, I enjoyed reading them. I liked both characters, although I wanted to shout at David sometimes for demanding so much trust from Cassidy when he showed her none at all. Overall this is an enjoyable story that receives four out of five stars.
