At His Service by Suzanne Rock
Erotic romance with BDSM elements
4/5 stars

An incendiary tale of erotic seduction-and the high stakes of surrender...

To save his family's hotel empire, Leo Perconti arrives at Boston's Palazzo prepared to take no prisoners. His hedonistic siblings have let the grand hotel's standards slide, and the company is teetering on the edge of bankruptcy. But before he takes on his family, he has a no-strings-attached arrangement to consider...Is it time to put the Do Not Disturb sign up on the door? Or is it too dangerous to mix work with no-holds-barred pleasure?

IS THEIR DESIRE WORTH THE RISK?Sleeping with the boss was never part of hotel intern Karin Norell's plan. But she can't resist Leo's powerful allure.... sensual submission is downright addictive with Leo in control. But that addiction comes with a hefty price, and soon she's caught in a compromising position. Will Karin be strong enough to pay it? Because when it comes to passion at the Palazzo, Leo is a man who means business. And he won't take no for an answer...

At His Service was originally released as a four part serial, but I read this edition which is the complete story.  I really enjoyed this book, it kept my interest from start to finish. The hero, Leo, is just yummy. He's a rich, alpha male who's famous for his ferocious temper. But inside he's like a big fluffy marshmallow! He is devoted to his family and puts everyone's needs above his own. His hotel chain is in big financial trouble, his siblings are running riot and he has the weight of the world on his shoulders.  The only person who makes him feel whole and sane is the company's intern, Karin, but she tries to resist him as she is afraid of her colleagues finding out she's involved with the boss! But she can't resist him for long, especially when he shows her the pleasures to be had when she submits to him,

Karin is a lovely character - she's smart, kind, sometimes sassy, and she always tries to do the right thing. She is an absolute rock for Leo. She supports him through family problems and is by his side when his business troubles become serious. Leo is a flawed character, but Karin helps him and brings out the best in him. It's not all one sided though, Leo helps Karen to grow as a woman and to have confidence in her abilities. The chemistry between them sizzles, these two are definitely meant to be together. Their are some very erotic scenes in this book and they were very well written.

Suzanne Rock is a new author to me, but I would definitely read more of her books.  This series is intriguing and I'm looking forward to the next book which I believe is Leo's sister's story.  At His Service is an enjoyable, sexy read and it gets four out of five stars.

I received a copy of this book in exchange for a honest review.
